anyways, I slept at 4, woke up at 9. and I dont have anything better to do.

I'm currently downloading cs source. hoping it's not the old one with only 1 ct an 1 t characters. and it's going up and down, the download speed. max is 110kb/s. which is impossible for our download speed. but that's only for a few minutes in each hour. used to have 60-80kb/s average speed but now it's down to 1-5kb/s. again. ah well.

oh yeah, today, I had a creepy and weird dream.

it was after a dream about SYAT. syaaaaaaaaat.... *.*

anyways, me and my brothers lived in those secluded kampongs like you see in malaysian movies. to become ustaz(es).

everynight, I would say "assalamualaikum" to my brothers before going to sleep. and they'd reply, of course. but one night, they don't reply but someone said "waalaikumsalam". :O

then I went to sleep as usual cos I didnt know. and they did too. then in my sleep, someone nudged me, so I woke up. then I saw my brothers were still asleep. :O

then I turned around, and there, in front of me, was a hantu PUCUNG! or a gula-gula hacks, as ameen calls em. with his face pale and eyes wide, staring into my face. he was lying down beside me too.

and the first thing I said to him was... "assalamualaikum". -_- then ia balas and I question him with super weird malaysian standard malay stuff like "kenapa kamu disinii??!!" and shit.

then after some questions, he looked pissed and stood up and made a :| face. freaky.and with my ustaz powers, I said to him "pergi! pergi!" without noticing that I already woke up. so I said "pergi!" when I was up, in bed. and also, a big rebel yell that went "GRAAHHH!" and then I realised I was up and felt weird saying that. then I went to play my laptop. =D

gahhh. exams are coming. in 3 days! and I have not studied yet. so I am freaking OUT! but I still dont feel like studying. cos I'm just toooooooo damn lazy. :D

it's maths 1&6 and ths 2. after that. only bio will be left. which is awesome. cos right now, it's my 2nd most confident subject. it's close with chem but since chem 2 was quite easy, I'm more confident with chem. weird eh, the doctor boy thinks chem is easier than bio.

and and, I got horrible news.

it seems that people who wants to continue with medicine as their uni subject will HAVE TO GO TO UBD. and not UK or new zealand or canada. and that to me is quite depressing because I WANNA GO SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN BRUNEI for a change. it might be the most peaceful country but it certainly ain't the best. that's like forcing a fish to live on a tree! maybe a flying fish can survive. for 5 seconds! so yeah, this has definitely gotten me pissed.

so with that, it's either change my educational direction to something UK-worthy and go to UK OR stay with my medicine path, which is what I'd want, but get stuck here forever and ever and ever.

yesterday, we started going to open houses at 5 cos dad had work. we went to about 5 houses saja.

I miss the times when badil macis was the bomb and having a colour flower meant you were cool. now it's crazy bangs, crazy robots, air bombs and them cool fireworks.

I just downloaded google chrome. it's awesome. =D it's faster than mozilla.

and I like how it has a larger viewing space than other browsers. only thing it needs is the preview tab thing like in opera and it'll be PERFECT. (Y)

now am trying to get used to it.

I'm also trying to type without looking at the keyboard. I'm laying down and the laptop is on my tummy, so yeah. going good tho. gettting the hang of it after a month of laptop rest. :D

I do not know why but Brunei always had a controversy over the moon sightings.
every year we don't see the 'anak bulan'.
last year, it was reaaalllyy bad. till people were convinced not to fast during the last day cos other countries were already celebrating the raya. I can't blame them. the 'anak bulan' could be seen with the naked eye! without the help of telescopes. so what's up with thaat?

in about 5-6 hours, Malaysia will be celebrating hari raya. and we'll still be fasting. every year it's like this. I don't believe I'm the only one who notices this. I hope explanations about this come around soon.
they say the anak bulan WAS sighted in tutong but I dont know. I wasnt the one looking at it with a telescope on top of a hill. so if that was true, then something is DEFINITELY wrong with the moon sightings in Brunei. you cant see it in one place and not at another. there IS only ONE moon for earth. so yeah.

stressed out about the moon? yes, I really am. I was really looking forward to raya. I did not know why, but I was. so that's why I am pissed.

today was the day that we, ex-5sci1s had a reunion. it was at coffee zone.
supposed to be there at 2 but due to some... stuff... I went there at 3.30.

went there, met up at this new cybercafe. which is less crowded than cp and rf.
we played source for an hour plus. I sucked, as always. cept that one time when I camped and owned 2 totally unsuspecting people. eheh. maybe next time, we'll do that again. it was fun. =]
after that, we tried cod but it was busted. so we played killing floor. I sense a new disease will be spreading through cybercafes. =D it was 5 people this time and we survived 5/6 rounds! :O till we got killed by psycho dude with chainsaw. next time, we'll kill you psycho dude with chainsaw.

we stopped at around 5.30 to head over to coffeezone. I booked 22 seats but 23 came. because someone invited a non-5sci1. -.- ah well. we paid for 22 people only tho. cos that's what they said when I booked. they said 'if you book for 22 people, you pay for 22 people'. so your loss, coffeezone. =p
some of the dudes didnt listen and lined up for the buffet later than us. so they ate later than us. heheh. good food tho. nice meal. great to meet everyone again. =]

now they say they want a raya reunion at my place. but merule has the same open house date as me. so it's a bit difficult to plan. and some people dont know where my house is. ah well. we'll see what happens.

A new background for the BLOG. after months and months. =DD

I made 2. this one and another, bright yellow one. I like the yellow one. it's a happy colour. but it's a tad too bright. the design's nice tho. me likey. also, wafie (the vampire) hates bright backgrounds. so I made this one. the lines make it look smart. like ME! :D okay fine, I ain't. but it does look good with the background. to me at least. and I'm proud of it. I havent made a background in months.
blue looks good with the blog layout and colours. so yeah. will make ones of other colours next time. maybe green or red or orange. red's too common. orange maybe too bright. green I haven't experimented with yet. so it should be interesting. and maybe with funky colours like purple and pink. with maybe splatters or retro designs. =]

so exams are coming. most people I know are gonna sit for some major exams soon.
so study hard, and don't forget to PRAY. you won't get anywhere without God's help, admit it. so yes, revisions are only 2nd to prayers in importance. =]

and please, don't ask me tips on 'how to study'.
most people I know know that, I barely even study. so yeah.
if you really need em, all I can say is that everyone studies in different ways.
I memorise easy, and forget less, if I concentrate well. that's my main advantage. others need constant reading to stick stuff in their heads. so find out what works best for you.
studying 24/7 does not help much. it'll just put your brain's engine on overdrive and burn it out. so don't even try to do that. you'll just be putting your efforts to waste. *nods.
if you're trying on last minute revision, as in in school before exams, read the main and important points. then concentrate on details. I do NOT recommend this. this is baaaaaadd. so a big X for this if you're planning on this. you'll just end up remembering the last part of what you read and forgetting all others.
topic by topic reading works reall well. dont jumble em up. read em from first to last, in order.
and of course, ask friends who are good in topics you're bad at. everyone has strengths and weaknesses in everything. only God is perfect. you ain't. so deal. :D

I'm currently filling up my time with song learning. so far, i've been trying to learn metallica - one. the solo is very catchy. x]
so that's the only piece of entertainment I get between study times. and my laptop too, of course. =D
entertainment is important too.

and here, be confident, not over or under confident. over confident is saying : oh, this answer's right. oh this is right too. this too. under confident is : are these answers right? are those right?
confident is : this is totally right. this I'm not sure of, but has a high chance of getting some marks. this I dont know. be HONEST.

Dear diary, I wish I had a diary.

My laptop is back! YAY! =D
All of my games and programs are gone. BOOOO!
but my other stuff is still here. more YAYS! =DD
now I'm trying to figure out what to install and what not to install. so far, it only has the basics, mozilla, msn, nokia pc suite, photoshop, bittorent and limewire. games, I'll install AFTER my exams cos if I dont, I'd probably be distracted and do extremely badly for my exams. which I sooooo dont want. it does have maple and PvZ tho.

I'm currently forcing my lazy ass to study. right now, chem is the priority. my chem teacher is poking her eye at me cos I'm the only one in my chem class who takes the AS. and so she thinks I'm gonna do super well. like, A or B well. too bad I'm only a C grade student. x]
next priority is BIO. cos I wanna do good in it. I'm alright I think. just need to skim through old notes to refresh my old old brain. but the finals are after the hols so yeah.
maths, I think I'm gonna be alright. I THINK. I'll pass I hope.
THS, I just need a freaking C so I can drop it next year. which'll mean my blocks 2 and 3 will be free. which'll mean...
mondays I can go home extra early. 11+ to be exact.
wednesdays, my first 2 periods are free. so I can sleep for 2 hours. or finish month-old homeworks. x]
saturdays, I have a 3 hour break. it'll be maths, chem, 3 hour break (ps, ths, lunch), bio. :D
so that has gotten me inspired enough to try to get a good grade in THS. x]

practicals are over for me. chem and bio.
chem was cursed. lemme tell you why.

I panicked cos I was extreeeemely bad at calculations. so I studied hard on that.
then, I went into the lab, feeling okay, confident. and I read the questions properly.

first strike: I FORGOT TO BRING MY ERASER.
and there was table and graph drawing. which needs lots of erasing. so in order to make up for this mistake, I'll have to be perfect with my drawings. which I totally aint.
consequence: i made a few mistakes in the graph area and I needed to rub em off. we cant talk to another cos we'd be disqualified. so I rubbed em off with the rubbery thing on my pen. and also rubbed it with my fingers.

2nd strike : I OVERSHOT THE TITRATION 3 TIMES.
for those who dont know what it is, titration is this experiment, where you have to accurately pour down a specific amount of acid into a jar of alkali until it neutralises. we then need to find how much acid is needed to neutralised the alkali. this is marked by a distinct end-colour. in this titration, it was supposed to be peach coloured. if you overshot (ie more acid is poured than needed), it'll turn pink.
each titration took like, 7 mins. preparing the solutions for all the titrations, took about 20 mins. I needed to finish the titration in about 30 mins so I'll have enough time for other parts of the paper. see my dillema?
consequence: I had to make up a number for the volume of acid used. -.-

3rd strike : I FORGOT ABOUT IMPORTANT POINTS THAT I READ.
the analysis part is the part of the exam where you have to find which element is in this solution. there're tons of tests for them. and you have to know what you have to do. when I revised, I remembered what tests should be done when this is done or when that is done. but there, I forgot. there was gas testing that I totally did not do. -.-
consequence: my answers were far out.

all in all, I'll pass I guess. I finished the calculation. which I hope is right. so nervous.

bio pracs were much better I think. but I forgot to draw in the cell wall for my cell drawings. -.- and I think I messed up the first part of the experiment somehow. =\

very very very soon, I'll be super duper busy with exams. right after the hols, I'll have my end of years AND soon after that, AS exams.
I hope my brain will function at max performance throughout this hellish end of year period.

school has been like school.
tadi, our ths teacher nada so we had a free period. I had 2 free periods. ths and ps after that.
we were sooooooooooooo bored time ths. zul took out his phone and played random songs. I, out of boredom, first sang along. then danced along. then made actions to the words of the songs. like, "I'm into you"; point a finger to self, insert finger into fist, points to someone.
I got too carried away, I didnt notice that half of the class was watching in astonishment. I think in their minds, it was "I cant believe someone like him would do something so dorky". well there you have it folks, azeez in a nutshell.

today, 2 interesting questions were raised.

according to physics, heat is produced by vibrating molecules. so do our phones produce heat when it vibrates?
