last week aku birthdaaayyyy!

partying at the disco place. oh yeah.

so let's start with the details ya.


THURSDAY!
i had an exam. called the MILE.
which stood for Medical Independent Learning Exam.
or something. I dont know. I just sit for these exams.
anyway! it's basically a pbl exam.
we had till midnight to do it.
they give a case in the morn, then we stress out the whole day and submit.

om nom nom nom nom.

but that was also the day when syat came over!
from leicester!
yaaaayyy!
so in the morning i got the case, worked in the library, came home, went to the station, came back home, did some more work, procrastinate and then finally finish and submit.
that's basically the summary of the day.


FRIDAY!
weewoowooop!
me and syat planned to go to this place called SnoZone and play some snow. =D

how we imagine it'd be

pagi kami rehat, and then aku sembayang jumaat. dropped her off arah a nearby subway.
thennnn. i didnt really know how to get to the place.
so! we went to the city from the uni and got on this bus.
but that bus.... took us back to the uni THEN to the area with the snow place.
and at that area, I didnt know where the snow place was.
so we took another 15 mins just looking for it.
then at looonng last, SNOZONEEE.

who knew it was at the place labelled 'snow'

was the best. =D
until the freaking snow got into our shoes and gloves and sleeves.
then it was a nightmare of "sajuk tangan ku eh!!!!" and "sajuk kaki kuuuuuu" and "i think there's snow in my butt".
all in all it was super fun.

would've goofed around here, but we're too n00by.

tho next time, we definitely need to bring better gloves, shoes and pants.

SATURDAY.
pagi aku ke gym and dropped off syat arah this funky little cafe.
then aga ia andddd we bought me a guitar!!!

then we had to go home to leave my guitar so we can go to the city. :(
no worries my precious. now we have all the time in the world to bond. *.*

we saw someone bringing around a FERRET in the city!!!!
i would loovveeee to bring a pet sloth in the city.

she surprised me with CUPCAKES.

then she surprised me with hummingbird icing that she made herself! and some decorative items we can play around with!

oh yeah. put some of that cream oh me, naughty boy.

it was the bestest ever.
we spent like 30 mins making up the cupcakes =D

other than that, she got me a book which I've been wanting to read for like 2 years and a world's greatest boyfriend mug.

that is, after I sent syat to the station.

anyhoos, before the term started, I went over to lakeland to buy a dryer/airer/heater.
and they said it was supposed to arrive in 5-7 days.....
AND IT ARRIVED 2 DAYS AGO!

look at that. dries all my socks and shirts and towels and undies.... NO LOOKING AT MY UNDIES.

i think i wash my socks too much

its the bestest. now all my clothes are dried after washing.
usually I have to hang like, 5 pieces of clothing and it might not even dry out through the night!
with this, EVERYTHING is dried!
it's AMAZING.
best purchase so far.
until I get a ps3 that is. eheheheh.


my plan for this month is to save up 200 so that next month (february... which incidentally contains my birthday) I'll have enough money to get myself a gift!
it'll be the first birthday I'll spend without my family.

tho it isss a new year, I don't feel like anything's changed much. cos you know, school and all. feels much different in brunei.
did any of youuu celebrate it in styleee? gathered up your friends. watch some fireworks. counted down. because I didn't. =D
stuck in my room, watching some movies. dang fireworks were too far away for me to enjoy. :(

so, I last stopped on the 6th, when it was snowing.
ahhhh. what bliss that was. watching snow fall.
but you know what?
I HATE SNOW NOW.
it froze up the next day. and so the sidewalk was slippery and I had to walk like a granny!
and even then I slipped up a couple of times. -.-
oh wellll.
the days after were normal school days. BOOOORIIIINNGGG.


I left for london on the 16th. ON A COACH!!! =DD
it was exciting to be using a new mode of transportation.
it's basically just a bus. dunno why they call it a coach. sounds like a taxi.
anyways, they bus had internett! innncredible!
the seats were comfy enough too. I was hoping for my own seat, but someone sat next to me. =(
but it's alrightttt.
my coach trip was at 10pm. i arrived in london..... at 7am.
i felt like a zombiiieeeeeee.

and what was worse is that I forgot to take out money from an ATM for the cab and brunei hall.
I ended up having justttt enough cash for the cab but no money for brunei hall. -_-
but no worries. i eventually got money to stay there. 
and I got a room! hooray! thought it'd be too full for a room and I'd have to stay in the surau. but no worries.


the day I arrived was the first day of the winter games. which was mostly football. and netball(?).
not sure. I didnt go cos the thing was at 9 but I arrived at 7.
did NOT feel like going anywhere for a while.
but in the end, I went out for food. was hungraaayyyy.
then just went around paddington station and up and down edgeware road with syat.
at nightttt, we went to the WINTER WONDERLANDDDD. =DDDD
it was the prettiest everestttt.

and cold. but still all sorts of awesome.
too bad we have to spend A LOT to have fun tho. we didnt spend much but it was still pretttyyy good.

anyways, it was extra cold being tens of metres above ground!

also, in our carriage was this couple. the girlfriend was wearing red shoes, a red jacket and she HAD A RED FACE.
i do not know why. probably a tan gone wrong.
then we went home. cos it was late. and nipple freezing cold.

second day was a bit more productive in terms of shopping.
we went over to oxford square to do some SHAAAPPIIINNGGG.
tho i didnt buy much. the girls did. I was like their bodyguard/translator/escort.
do you know that if a stranger says something to them and they don't understand, they go "zeeeez, apa cakapnyaaa???" and brings me forward.
as if me being good in english helps me understand slurred speech or heavily accented speech. -_-
anyways, I got myself a sweater anddd a nice, warm hat.
the place was also nicely decorated cos it was almost christmas.
made it fun.

minnie mouse, her boyfriend, and 2 mice.

thennn we had to go to winter wonderland again to bring our other friends there.
and then again came the coldness.


the nextt daaayyy was me going to hull.
but beforee that we went over to this little bakery called hummingbird.
they make THE BESTEST CUPCAKES TO HAVE EVER ENTERED THE PLANET.
theyy taste AMAZING.

this was the most laid back I've ever been in the UK.
all I did was:
wake up
play games
shower

go out and buy food

sleep.


it was the best.
also, si abang taught me how to cook a few stuff.
like some awesome, super tasty and creamy carbonara.
pretty easy but it tastes sooo damn good!

unfortunately, I didnt take pictures in hull.
